Assessments are essential to confirm the most pressing up-to-date needs of your community and service population. Needs assessments also distill a community’s inherent assets. Have things been improving over time or have they gotten worse? What goals would the community hope to achieve? What evidence accurately supports the community’s perspective?
Organizational Strategic Planning

Once your community’s or target population’s needs are confirmed, you will be able to identify the most effective way to address those needs. Federal government agencies expect your request for funding to be compelling, to clearly match the RFP’s purpose and requirements, and to inspire confidence in your ability to track and measure outcomes. Correct spelling, consistency throughout application sections, and budget clarity matter. Glossy covers and fancy adjectives do not.
