Would you or your students like to learn how to conduct your own Community Needs Assessment? Would your direct service staff benefit from an infusion of inspiration and structured brainstorming to boost their teaching (or counseling or nursing services or community organizing) and help them to be as effective as possible? Are you frustrated with the time and energy you spend on grant applications that don’t result in grant awards? Do you wish that your Board members were more involved and held themselves more accountable?
Workshops and Webinars can be tailored to your agency, staff, and community’s requirements on a range of topics such as:
- How to Conduct a Needs Assessment
- How to Develop an Effective Human Service Program
- Fundraising and Grantwriting
- Board Development
Dr. Beane has taught Program Development and Grantwriting at Morgan State University (HBCU), Enoch Pratt Free Library, Goucher College, Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations, and the Johns Hopkins University’s Institute for Policy Studies and Carey Business School. She has also provided planning and fundraising workshops tailored to the staff of both small and large agencies, including St. Ambrose Family Outreach Center, Garrett County (Maryland) Department of Social Services, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the National Association of Public Interest Law.
